Marine Consulting Engineers, Inc. (MMCE) was founded in January 2007 by Mary Dean Woods (“Maureen”), M.S., P.E.,
to provide the highest quality engineering services to local, national and international Clients. Ms. Woods
has over 15 years of engineering experience in both the municipal, public and private sectors. Our office is located in the beautiful city of Key Largo, Monroe County,
Florida, approximately 60 miles south of Miami International Airport. We are structured
to maintain low overhead costs, but are committed to developing relationships with our Clients, providing them exceptional
services at very competitive rates. Our core services include coastal engineering analysis, design and permitting, geophysical surveys, oceanographic and environmental studies, environmental impact assessments value engineering, means and methods, construction administration, pre/post and construction monitoring services, and project management for various coastal improvement and maintenance projects, including beach nourishment, sand sourcing, dredging, and coastal structures.
